The Filming location - The Crazy Circle
β οΈ According to current government regulations, we cannot welcome you physically to enjoy the show, so join us online!
The Crazy Circle is a tiny cozy bar located in Ixelles that was recently taken over in 2019 by Laïla and Axelle, a lesbian couple, with the purpose of transforming it into a lesbian, feminist bar open to the LGBTQI+ community and their allies.
The Crazy Circle is a safe space embracing diversity, a place of expression for women and queer artists. A bar where you can have a beer or a delicious cocktail at a reasonable price. A place where you can have fun : concerts, DJ sets, karaoke, cabaret, comedy shows, board games, soccer table,...
The Crazy Circle co-organizes many events with Lgbt+ associations (Rainbowhouse, L-Tour, EGOW, Activ'elles, MATCH, ...) and is at the initiative of the weekly ""Femme Jam"", the only jam in Brussels with a 100% women & NB stage.
The Artist Profiles
Camille Pier has been writing and performing under the pseudonyms Nestor (in slam) and Josie (in cabaret) since 2012. He is a writer and performer of poems, songs and shows that mix poetry, humour, dance and queer activism.
He is currently recording an album for his new musical project "Pierre Rococo", at the crossroads of music, performance and cartoon. Since 2020, he has returned to the visual arts to illustrate his texts and those of other authors, and is preparing a comic book project. Since April 2020, he has been conducting a poetic investigation into masculinities with men and people who identify with the masculine. The future work will aim to represent other models of men.
« Thom Leblanc plunged into the club scene as youngster. Sparking his intrigue with the way in which DJ’s created sonic voyages. It’s these landscapes that saw him delving into musical archives, with a keen focus of late 90s and early 2000’s house music. His sets see him blending genres on Soul, Disco and Afro into a well balanced sense of elation and warmth. » BRUZZ
AAguilAA is a Brussels based DJ playing metallic EBM Funk, horror disco, acid-house-breaks and ambient soundscapes. Head of programming of Vicuna parties and founder of FFORMATT in Brussels.
